on 2009-10-29I had replaced my worn weatherstripping with a non magnetic type. Bad move... I purchased this weatherstripping and installed it in just a couple of minutes. It was a cold, windy day, and I could immediately measure the results. I used a smoke stick to detect drafts and found nothing.
The magnetic strip does seem weak, but you can't argue with the results. I'm assuming that the large surface area of the magnet helps to "bring it in".
